MOTHER'S LOVE

Lady of Light all aglow
'tis they son Ive come to know
yet 'tis thee gave him birth
for his short time upon this earth
a babe in arms blessed was he
sent from above to set us free
Ye cradled him beneath thy brest
A mother's love put to the test
to give him life to suffer and die
so many tears did thee cry
Woman, I am risen , do not weep
only the flesh lies in eternal sleep
the Father calls angels abide
they take me now to His side
in His favor lady thou art still
for His will ,thou did fulfill
but for thee heaven can wait
I shall be at the gate
for my maiden shall open wide
the gates of heaven step inside
for the love of no other
