most computer geeks were focused on the computer not the business of selling computers-they didnt have the desire/goal to have a computer in every house in america
lets examine appalachia-kentucky west virginia tennessee
the liberals generally have aimed at getting the urban and black vote-they are giving resources to the urban cities in exchange for the urban vote...and if you live in the suburbs you can still get to the hood in say at max 40 minutes
the dems and liberals in order to get the appalachian vote would have to travel a couple of hours to get to appalachia-the population is also far more diffused and so its financially inefficient to go after that vote-certainly any help or desperation up there is not under the eye of the press and therefore the people of this country
meanwhile the folks of appalachia know that the resources go to the urban areas and so why would you give your vote to the democrats
-the urban poor are being taken care of we are not-nor do we need their help-we do not agree with their immorality as we are moral
indeed there is no doubt a spirituality-ie a relation to god that exists when living in the mountains and less need for materialism
we do not agree with their inability to spend frugally and be economical as we are economical and simple people
meanwhile the truth is that appalachia is lacking resources and the people up there need just as much support as people in the ghetto
