i dont understand the black apologist comment
its obvious that a lot of black men have been brought up without a father in the household
this is a fact
in a sense this is like starting a football game on your 5 yard line without a coach during the entire game
in their formative years they were not instilled with confidence and with pride-many of their fathers are in prison and or have been murdered
many have overcome this but many have not
that is how life goes-some overcome and some dont
no ideas from social scientists or academic people will change this
if a woman is raped repeatedly is she a victim
generally trauma does ensue-social scientist or not
the difficult thing is how does a victim not see himself or herself as a victim-such a perspective prevents healing
