Someone want to explain to me how it is that the liberal scumbags of Silicon Valley can support the overtly oppressive censorship in China?
WTF??!?!?!?!?! Without Gates, JObs, Cisco et al, China would have no internet, forget that without the above, the fukkin chinese gov't would not have the hardware and software controls to actually censor the web. I thought these people were idealistic liberals? see this is why they are to be called redistributor scumbags, real liberals would not in a million plus one years take money from China, real liberals would not in a million years develop, design, build proprietary software for the purpose of killing individual rights to freedom of information. IT is a fukkin farce, why is it the liberal scumbag media gives them a pass?!??!?!?!?!?!?

China's Internet awash with state spies (280K of pro-Chicom Internet shills)
Asia Times ^ | 08/14/08 | Wu Zhong Posted on Friday, September 05, 2008 7:07:26 AM by TigerLikesRooster China's Internet awash with state spies By Wu Zhong, China Editor HONG KONG - An innovative Internet-based "profession" of state-outsourced web commentators is flourishing under the guidance of the Chinese government, according to the latest edition of the Far Eastern Economic Review (FEER). As the article, titled "China's Guerrilla War for the Web", reports: They have been called the "Fifty Cent Party", the "Red Vests" and the "Red Vanguard". But China's growing armies of web commentators - instigated, trained and financed by Communist Party organizations - have just one mission: to safeguard the interests of the party by infiltrating and policing a rapidly growing Chinese Internet. They set out to neutralize undesirable public opinion by pushing pro-party views through chat rooms and web forums, reporting dangerous content to authorities. [1] The so-called "Fifty Cent Party", or wumaodang, is more commonly known by its literal translation as the "Five Mao Party" - a derogatory term applied to the pro-party bloggers by other Chinese Internet users. According to the FEER report, "Rumors traveled quickly across the Internet that these Party-backed monitors received 50 mao, or roughly seven US cents, for each positive post they made." The allegations of receiving such meager pay for posting propagandistic opinions has only worsened online perceptions of the "Five-Mao Party". The unfriendly nickname itself is telling: the official commentary army - estimated by the FEER article "to comprise as many as 280,000 members nationwide" - is most unpopular among regular Internet users.

Is this more evidence of the liberal scumbags devoutly supporting communism no matter how many times it has failed in the past and how oppressive it is to it's citizens?

Break: Is this is what you mean when you talk about "redistributor scumbags? How does it apply to the Soros, Turner, Silicon Valley and Hollywood folks? It appears to me that these would be the folks whose pockets are targeted by Clinton. (see below)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clinton told her donors, “We're not coming to you, many of whom are well enough off that actually the tax cuts may have helped you, and say 'we're going to give you more.' We're saying, 'you know what, for America to get back on track and be fiscally responsible, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you.” Clinton: "Something Has to be Taken Away from Some People"

Freerepublic excellent source for information.
I visit this page frequently Latest Articles Today's article abt how Robert Novak found out he had a brain tumor is something else. The problem is two fold. 1)They don't get them. 2)They have so much money higher taxes actually helps them comparitively speaking. 1)THe first and perpetual problem with trying to tax the rich is, first they will hire someone to figure out how to not pay it, second if that fails they won't pay it, they will take the money from somewhere or someone else to pay it. Take, as in not fund-choose to fire someone vs paying a wage. This kills innovation, that money should be used to fertilize new business, not taken away and given out. 2)By raising taxes, you comparitively make the money that is already out there more valuable. If guy has a billion dollars and you make it more difficult for other guy to get a billion dollars it makes the first guy's billion worth more. Guys like Soros and Buffet are not only well aware of this, it is obvious at this point they are for higher taxation to protect their own positions in the world. Hollywood may not be consciously aware. But it is obvious higher taxation would not affect their lifestyles but would make them feel good abt the vast fortunes they accumulated while other Americans are not so lucky. FWIW one of them,(HOllywood iddiots) do not remember whom at this point was asked abt the avg salary in this country and he responded he thought it was abt $250,000/yr-tells it all pretty much.
