Default The only idea I have heard yet from either guy that has any merit at all

McCain wants to make the health insurance industry as liquid as the auto insurance industry.

This is a great idea, part of the problem is that the health insurance industry is too lucrative due to incredible gov't barriers to entry.

Have execs at companies like United HEalthcare making $300mill/yr,
largely because it is very difficult for new companies to get in there and compete.

By removing the cozy corporate to corporate relationships and make it more like auto insurance with massive competition for the individual is good idea.

Of course you are going to have the same bad exposure issues we have with the auto insurance. The companies are going to only go after the lower risks and the higher risks and pre existing conditions will have to be addressed with either a collective state fund or rotational assignment as a condition to operate.

Bingo!

Two days in a row I'm agreeing with you. Miracles truly occur.
