Was I the only one that saw the mess that the Hollywood officials made today of race 7?
There was an inquiry and they made no change -- I have NO issue there actually as I think the 3 was out of it regardless. However, I was at the OTB with a bunch of people and everyone said I believe the 2 got the nod for the win. When they finally showed photo results they gave it to the 6. Then not once but twice they showed the win photo. The 2 had its nose in front over the win line while the 6's nose was just on the line. They clearly called the race to the non-winner. How can this happen? I swore they'd never show that photo a 2nd time and they did. Everyone in the OTB was howling about that crap. Anyone else see it? Maybe my eyes are going on me at 30? -T |

Koriner is a scumbag and half,
I wonder how much prevecaine was in that animal's system. Incredible that the #2 did not get up. I dunno abt the inquiry, I actually moved on figuring I had won the race, and at worst they were looking to DQ the animal from second. Hey Vic how abt asking the placing judge what picture he was looking at exactly?

This photo isn't accurate as the picture should be taken when the 1st horse hits the line. I'm guessing the 6 got to the line first and this picture is a split second afterwards when the 2 puts his head in front.....I haven't seen the race but looks like a head-bob

Was a very cruel race.
The inside on the turf there has been pretty good, so I bet against him hoping he would not clear under a hold, but still he was sprinter going long, so even if worse comes to worst he may stop. Gates open he clears off easy, I wrote off my money on the backstretch. See the #2 decides to play superhorse, Vic even got a little choked up there deep stretch, he looked to have dead aim and yet as much as I was convinced he got up, I knew the other horse owned the bob. racingchannel left the race, they showed the objection/inquiry without showing the order of finish-morons-refreshed balance a few times and the money was never shipped-obviously the horse got beat. Something exquiste abt losing to the extra oomph in deep stretch that a faint hearted sprinter is not supposed to possess. THen of course the inquiry so get abt 4th life in the same race to no avail.

Maybe got a little too aggressive there, Koriner sprinter going long odds of clearing are pretty strong,
was rolling pretty good yesterday until this race. stinks-ended up doing OK on the day, but if I could have counted this as a win instead of a loss, would have been a monster day.

the win photo is on the Hollywood park website.
I blew it up to 20 x magnification and the nostril across the wire looks like it may be the inside hoss. Wish they had the mirror image too
