For common pool tracks, they also take out a surcharge % for themselves for trifectas, superfectas, pick 4s, and higher wagers. It's bull****, since because you can get robbed $100, even more extra on a payoff.

true Hoberz they treat us citizens better than their own,the w/pl/show takeouts are the best around,at one time I estimated that on a 10-1 shot it might be worth $1.00 to $1.40 per $2 ticket-GM

Probably because Canadians dont seem to have much choice as far as betting sites are concerned.

HPI seems to be the only game in town.

go to Pinnacle my friend. Unless you like to bet Fort Erie, Hastings, and all those terrible harness tracks such as Fambingo and Georgian. They don't take action on those tracks.

Bull: Does Pinnacle entertain Canadian Residents?

I play the Mohawk/Woodbine Harness circuit alone.

I believe that the difficulty that Canadien residents have is that, most off-shore accounts do not take many of the Canadien tracks, plus will not accept exotic wagers, from these tracks(urban legend says they were repeatedly raped and pilage by insiders) It is also illegal to have these accounts, which is almost impossible to police, unless they check your computer. The intra ontario wagers are idiotic, with their extra taxingI am not sure how the out of Ontario wagers are handled, like the Meadowlands, wagers that are now dumped into BigM pools now. In the past horse that paid $40 on site, might pay $12 in the seperate pools in Ontario-GM
