On this date in 1973 the New York Times reported that almost all superfectas run at Yonkers, Roosevelt, and Monticello from January to March of 1973 were fixed.

And it`s hard to say how many thousands since then.......

Always see drivers talking it up next to each other on the track....Can`t they communicate with each other in the paddock...Hmmmm

A lot of tracks these days fine drivers who talk on the racetrack.

I see it much more at the smaller tracks in non-stake races..I frequent Michigan tracks and it`s rampant there. I notice most times a long shot follows..I have used it to my advantage but It sort of clouds my opinion of racing somewhat. The purses are to small in Mich and what`s left of the driver colony really isn`t much so they cheat...
