Note to all fukking morons,

do not put people's posting nicks in thread titles.

it is a very simple and fairly universal posting rule.

not shocking a mindless, dolt like Jimmyb,
having already been told of such idiotic transgressions,

keeps doing it.

Your 100% right. I don't want to keep pissing the fascists off. Besides, it's an insult to include a horse racing term with corporate giant Geico.

YouTube - 2008 - Geico commercial - Caveman at the airport

He does entertain himself. Wouldn't take it personally.

Breakage--- re: "I was asked to leave majorwager because of my political views,
I was banned fr LVA for my political views"

My take is that Breakage was dismissed/banned less for his political views than for his personal attacks. Attacking an avatar or others holding that avatar's beliefs is the social equivalent of a personal attack.

There is a difference between calling someone/some group "fascist pigs" or "liberal scumbags" and attacking their statements or ideology as fascist or liberal.

There's plenty of room here` for conservative or liberal points of view and much opportunity to attack other points of view but much less room to attack avatars/classes of individuals. Personal attacks on avatars are like personal ATTACKS ON PEOPLE... WITHOUT THE LEGAL LIABILITY.

IMO, I good example of whether fascism exists is when people are afraid of expressing their opinions for fear of retribution from the group and character aspersions by others meant to rev up the "group" in order to silence the dissenter. This mindset is fascism. Now, I wonder, how many posters at TC do not post their opinions for fear of retribution, personal attacks by a like-minded but dominant group. I would bet a lot. Too bad. This, to me, is fascism -- it exists here in all its "glory".

i went to graduate school and was an intern in philadephia

every week all the interns would meet with the doctor privately and as a group

you had to be prepared...he made you feel foolish if you made an incorrect statement or an incorrect assumption.....or even asked silly questions

same with a creative writing class..same thing happened

but who gives a !@#$-most people on the planet are afraid of looking foolish

on the 27th i sat next to a pretty good handicapper-he bet $2500 on the 1 in the first race at dmr which won-he explained his reasoning after the race and it was interesting

has won a tournament-bets enough to make $40k a year in kickbacks while breaking even

if you make an incorrect statement with this guy he will be critical of that statement-its no joke to the guy

in the new york stakes race same day he said that the 9 was best by a mile but was a little cautious--you just listen to the comments and learn-if i had said i dont like the drop exactly where would that have gotten me-and that the horse is overrated and had a possible bias last out-he knows what he knows which is a lot

nobody is right all the time

you have to make the choice-do you want to learn or not

This makes absolutely no sense in light of the previous statement.

We're talking fascism, not being afraid to be wrong.

I see the usurpation of the former leading to the latter.

the statement: "you dont need fascism to be afraid to talk or be wrong" makes no sense to me. What do you mean? please explain.
